Sarah Bernamoff - Lawyer

My varied academic, creative, and cultural experiences have culminated in me being a well-rounded, mature, and dynamic lawyer, who approaches legal issues holistically. All my educational experiences, from English Literature and International Relations, to Judaic studies, a law degree and an MBA (with music studies in between) complement and enrich my law practice.

I have lived in five cities in Canada and internationally. Born and raised in Canada, I have also spent significant time in Israel and East Africa, areas that have special significance for me. I am bilingual, offering services in English and Hebrew.

I hold degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, University of British Columbia, and the University of Calgary. During my studies, I earned a variety of awards and scholarships, including the Peter Burns Trial Moot advocacy award and the Dean’s Public Interest Fellowship award for my work with an international non-governmental organization.

I am a classically trained pianist, and studied voice and performance at a Berklee College of Music affiliate program overseas. In addition to my law practice, I DJ and produce music, with a specialty in Afrobeats and House music. I also love traveling, spending time in nature (especially hiking), and spending time with loved ones.

I was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019, and the Alberta Bar in 2020. Before joining Construct Legal, I articled in Toronto at a national firm and subsequently practiced at a top boutique commercial litigation firm.

I look forward to helping you address your construction law needs, with an emphasis on dispute resolution.
